As an outcome of the initial consultancy service, we can identify the key priorities and critical issues preventing progression within the organisation. Often times, training can address these gaps. Much of this training is non-accredited and customised towards the needs of individual learners in organisations and organisational succession planning.

Covering a range of innovative career progression and coaching courses, as well as preparation to work, workplace effectiveness and motivation courses. These courses can be completed alongside all courses from Level 3 to 6, where the individual is looking at making real change in their lives and progressing in a route that suits them, given their attributes, skills, and passions. A lot of work done here includes life, career and workplace coaching to ensure that each person and organisation is linked into the most progressive path for them.

Mainly at QQI Levels 5, these courses are aimed at developing core skills to work effectively and efficiently in a particular work-setting. The outcome of the course incorporates learning attributes and competencies needed to work in an office, manufacturing or retail environment. Examples of courses includes Office Procedures, Office and Business Administration, Payroll and Bookkeeping, Customer Service, Marketing and Digital Marketing, Consumer Legislation, Reception and Retail Sales. Each module is a complete course focused on different attributes. There is an option to engage in an overall major award by combining 8 modules to attain a Certificate in Business Administration (Level 5). Our courses are all overseen by a Career coach to ensure that learners are choosing the most appropriate modules aimed at individual and customised progression plans.

At level 6, individuals are moving into the Higher awards within FET. Mostly aimed at managers/ potential managers, these courses are certified at QQI Level 6 and are focused towards supporting a new Business Manager/Owner or Entrepreneur or anybody looking at Management or promotion within a business. Some of the subjects include Business Management, Project Management, Supervisory Skills, Business Planning, Entrepreneurial Skills, Communications and Leadership skills. There are also more specific courses on offer to include the next level of Accounts, management or IT at level 6. There is an option to engage in an overall major award by combining 8 modules to attain a Certificate in Advanced Business Management (Level 6). Our courses are all overseen by a Career coach to ensure that learners are choosing the most appropriate modules aimed at individual and customised progression plans.

The Cert in Training and Development is a Special Purpose award aimed at experts with a particular skill/ area of expertise. This special Purpose award is made up of 2 core modules. MIDAS Group have worked with individuals to undertake this award and move on to create courses/ products for themselves both inhouse within organisations or as individuals. These courses focus on qualifying learners to become qualified tutors in an area that they are expert in and can move on into this area on completion of the programme. This course is delivered with an option to work with a coach, to help develop a product/ course.  

The Life and Workplace Coaching Courses at Level 6 will qualify learners to be coaches in an area that they are skilled in. - e.g. Life Coaching, Executive Coaching, Business Coaching, Emotional Coaching™ etc. The course is delivered with an option of working with a coach to help set up a coaching practice either internally within an organisation or as a professional coach entity. 

All IT courses are delivered on-line. The courses have been developed to integrate and support learners from basic to advanced Level of Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint, and Office 365 (covering Microsoft 365, Virtual storage (One Drive and Shared Drive), Microsoft Teams, Online applications) We also cover the QQI (Levels 3-6) modules as well as ECDL, MOS Core and MOS Masters Certification. There are different criteria for undertaking assessment on each of these courses.
